Wednesday 11 July, on our way to the Phoenix Tools Patchquick Trophy 2012, the weather was good when we left home, arriving at Whiteway Barton, the track was prepared well, could not wait to get racing.

Out for qualifying, the track was mint, and I qualified 15th; should be able to get a good gate position with this result.

First race, the concrete start was very slippery, and I managed to find perfect throttle control and gated fifth, put a good first lap in and got me into fourth, I was holding a good fourth for over ¾ of the race, but disaster struck and picked up a rear wheel puncture, and eventually finishing 9th.

Second race, not such a good gate, gated 15th, and pulled myself up to finishing 10th with some good battles in the race.

Third race, another great start, gated 4th, a very strong and hard pace, held me in fourth, until I finally got caught and passed by Bradshaw, Hawkins and Skuse, and had to settle for a solid 7th, but really pleased with how rode the race.

A great result, I eventually finishing 6th overall,

I am really pleased with my riding, and pleased with the pace that I set for myself, and a really good meeting to attend, with a strong field of riders.

I would like to thank all my sponsors for their continued support.

Overall Results for the evening:
1. Kristian Whatley
2. Shane Carless
3. Alex Snow
4. Neville Bradshaw
5. Luke Hawkins
6. Dan Thornhill
