Round 11 of the Summer Championship took place at the Grangemoor venue with a cracking weekends weather and a great turn out.With the weather as it was, the track owners new bowser was put to good use.

It was tight at the top of the A class, with Glenn Fletcher and Jay Hague battling it out for the top spot. A poor first race for Hague saw Fletcher take the win, but in Moto’s Two and Three Hague came back with two good wins to take the overall on the day ahead of Fletcher in second and Aiden Wharton in third.

Johnny Smith took the honours in the B Class, with a win in the first moto helping him to the overall on the day. A second place and two fourth places gave Kieron Leith second overall with Ben Chatterton taking third overall.

Two good wins in the second and third Moto gave Will Trigg the overall win in the Championship C Class. Two second places helped Ollie Richardson secure second overall, with Jacob Wilson taking third overall.

In the C2 class, Simon Taylor took the overall win, helped by a good win in the first moto. Ritchie Clayton took second overall with Will Kynaston taking third.

Dylan Bradley rode consistently well all day with two seconds and a third to take the overall win. Following two good wins, Declan Ryan looked set to take the overall win until an off in the last moto saw him have to settle for second overall. Hnery Harman rode well and took third overall.

A win and two second places gave Thomas Dodsworth a deserved overall win in the BW 85 class. A win in the second moto helped Tom Haddock secure second overall, with Lewis Bean taking third overall.

In the SW 85 class William Clare’s Two firsts and a second gave him the overall win. A first place in the second moto gave Riley Wilkinson second overall with John Curgenven taking third on the day.

Three good wins from three gave Joe Ross the overall win in the 65 class. A second place and two thirds gave Charlie Collins second overall, with Alfie Wilkinson taking third on the day.

In the Auto class Harrison Drewell produced three convincing wins for the overall victory. A second place and two thirds helped Billy Askew second overall, with Ryan Milner taking third place.

The next WRMXC meeting is Round 12 of the Championship on 3rd August at Sand Hutton.
