Big battle for 250 motocross riders in North Wales

MORE than 250 riders from the North Shropshire/North Wales AMCA battled it out in a MotoCross event.
The Inter Juniors were first out of the gate with Will Hughes from Chester taking third place.

And cousins Jack and Ethan Sherlock from Chester continued their trophy winning season. Competing in the MX2 Juniors Group One, only two points separated them with Jack taking the win after Ethan was unlucky to have a fall in race two.

Daniel Kellett from Oswestry finished third overall.

Local success came from Stephen Tillotson from Mold MXC who was hot favourite to take the MX 1 Experts, and with two race wins to his name he didn’t disappoint.

Fellow club member Gavin Rizzi was hot on his heels in second with a win in race three, with Wesley Egan from Wirral in third.

Richard Roberts from Oswestry had a win in race three which gave him overall third position, and newly upgraded Reece Oglesby had an excellent first ride in the class having two top ten finishes.
