Youthstream strengthens its partnership in Belgium

After the success of the Belgian Grand Prix in 2012 in Bastogne, Youthstream’s president Mr Giuseppe Luongo announced today that the FIM Motocross World Championship will be back to the wallonie region in 2013. Edmond Detry, 2013 MXGP of Belgium organizer, thanked Youthstream for believing in his project and he expressed his will to improve significantly the image of the MXGP.

Mr Giuseppe Luongo explained: ‘our goal is to have a Grand Prix in Belgium every year, but switching from the French side of the country to the Flemish part. As it is very important for Youthstream to cover all the Belgian territory, we found together with Edmond Detry a really good idea for the future. Edmond has a very modern project in mind, which is in the same line as Youthstream’s, so we hope we can succeed together in the in the upcoming years.’

Mr Luongo added: ‘Edmond Detry has also made an agreement to manage the Belgian National Championship, and this is very important for us, because Youthstream’s goal is also to cooperate closely with the Federations, as well as with the National organizers. I am actually very pleased with such partnership, because it will let us work much better in the future.’

Edmond Detry explained: ‘I think that the future of the motocross in Belgium has born today; last year we had only twelve weeks to organize the MXGP of Belgium and it was only with the hard work of all the team in Bastogne that we made it happen. Now we have twelve months of preparation and we will work really hard to prove what we can really do. I will work throughout all the country and our strategy is to come with something completely different from the marketing point of view, so next season we will prove what we can during the MXGP of Belgium.’
