SACU Scottish Round 4 - Cardenden Preview

Round 4 of the 2012 SACU Scottish Motocross Championships will now be held at the recently re-vamped CARDENDEN circuit near Kirkcaldy in Fife , continuing under the banner of the Bon Accord MCC who have now hired the use of the FCOMC facility for the weekend of 7th / 8th July as scheduled.
The track was completely renevated and prepared by Johnny Hamilton earlier in the year to host Round 2 of the series at the end of April , however , severe flooding at the time forced the organisers to quickly change venue last minute and instead ran the event in the more absorbant sand at Leuchars.
With an opportunity now for the series to return to Cardenden , the SACU Motocross committee along with the Bon Accord Club and FCOMC are looking forward to use the great new track design which will cater well for all groups of racing throughout the weekend , and continue with the happy atmosphere enjoyed at the first three meetings so far.
Once again there will be a pair of Oakley goggles awarded to the Winner in each Youth Class presented by AAA Motorcycles. Entry fee for the Adult Support class running alongside Youth racing on the Saturday has been reduced to £20 , and prize money is on offer to the top 6 of both AMD Veteran and Clubman riders as well as the usual awards to the MX2 and Safe Access MX1 Championship contendors.

There is possibilty of crowning our first 2012 Scottish Motocross Champion in some classes at Round 4 , with others still very close amongst the top 3 in the points chase , so action packed racing is guarenteed !
Practice sessions start at 10am with racing commencing at 11.20. Motocross is a great family day out with admission is being kept artificially low at £5 to attract new followers, accompanied children under 14 get in free.

The FCOMC circuit is located at post code KY5 0AN , just off the A92 at the Lochgelly Junction.
