Powerband Racing Redbull Nationals Round 1

After waiting several months for the 1st round of the Redbull Nationals, it came and went like a flash. The weather was perfect and the course was in tip top conditions for a great weekend of racing. Powerband Racing Team had a mixed weekend of results, however Tom Grimshaw 65cc had everyone cheering as he went 5 wins from 5 starts in an impressive display of smooth riding to finish top of the 65cc Class. Tom’s 65cc team mate Christopher Mills displayed great courage to finish 5th overall after damaging his wrist in the week. Chris rode through the pain, so to minimise the points gap as little as possible.

Meanwhile SW 85 team rider George Grigg Pettitt had a mixture of results and luck over the weekend with poor starts and punctures, George however managed to salvage 14th Overall in this hard fought class.

Powerband Racing next stop is the 2nd round of BYMX at Salters Lane this coming weekend 19th & 20th May.

Many thanks for your support
