World MX3 and EMX2 head to Greece for a scorchio weekend

Megalopolis is ready for fifth round for the FIM MX3 World Championship and fourth round for the UEM EMX2 European Championship, which will be this weekend. It will be the first time that Greece will host the FIM MX3 World Championship.

Alex Salvini (Husqvarna Cross 2 R) became very close to Carlos Campano (Team Yamaha Andalucia) in the FIM MX3 World Champioship Classification. The difference between leading riders is only two points, so their battle will be central happening in the MX3 race again. Salvini already took the leadership that lasted only after first race in Bulgaria , because in the second race Campano beat him again and took the red plate back immediately. Matevz Irt (Husqvarna Tecno B) is 26 points behind Salvini after four rounds and holds third position.

Two teammates are fighting for the leading position in the UEM MX2 European Championship. Husqvarna Cross 2 R riders Jernej Irt ( Slovenia ) and winner of the last round Andrea Cervellin ( Italy ) are 21 points apart. Their results are proof that Husqvarna has perfect 250 cc bikes this season. French Steven Lenoir (Suzuki) is the closest competitor for the moment, he is 19 points behind Cervellin. Italian is decided to continue with top results and fight for the first position with Irt.
