MOTO Magazine and Friends Charity Ride Day a HUGE success

Yesterday was MOTO’s very first MOTO Magazine and Friends Charity Ride Day held at the impeccably prepared Apex Moto Parc near Worcester. The whole day was based around raising money for the “Forever Friends” charity at the Royal United Bath Hospital where Mark Hucklebridge is currently having cancer treatment.

Nearly 100 riders and many more spectators turned up to show their support in day which pretty much went sweet as a nut.

We raised a total of £1718.00 so far which is quite amazing, unfortunately some riders didn’t show which was a real shame as they booked in and we actually turned riders away as we were fully booked beforehand….so please if you didn’t show for what ever reason you can still donate your £30.00 riding fee direct to the “Forever Friends” charity right HERE – you know you want too :)

Big thanks to One Industries, Spiral GFX and Monster Energy for showing their support, Lee Dunham for his help in organising the day, Apex for the use of the circuit which was amazing and all the riders who showed and gave their support – great work everyone.

Here’s a few emails we’ve received thanking us for the day. You can read more on our Facebook page.

Neil Hopkins – One Industries
Just a quick email saying thanks for yesterday, It was awesome.
Hopefully it will be a regular thing!

Kelly Newton – Only Female rider there

Would just like to say a massive Thank You for today! Track was absolutley awesome, very well prepared for such a worthy cause and maintained throughout! Organisation was top, well advertised, lots of riders turned up and spectators, and pros!
Was amazing to be up and close to the pros, interacting like normal people bringing the motocross community closer together. I even gave a cheeky wink to Tommy! haha.
Really look forward to future events, once again thank you very much to all those involved in organising such a great event. Main highlight of the day is that we made so much money for a very worthy cause, especially helping Mark Hucklebridge through a difficult time and how everyone can come together to help make a difference!
Cheers :)
