Kawasaki introduce Enduro riders for 2011

Increasing their support for the enduro discipline of off-road sport in 2011, Kawasaki Motors UK has just announced a three rider line up for the British Enduro Championship and the British Enduro Sprint Championship.

Competing independently of each other, each of the three chosen riders hope to emulate the success enjoyed by David Knight, winner of the British Championship on a Kawasaki in 2009.

Jordan Rose is set to receive support from LPE Kawasaki and will run an enduro prepared KX450F as will Aston Bird. Choosing a quarter litre machine, Olly Moyce will campaign a KX250F prepared for him by enthusiastic Kawasaki dealer, K4 Offroad and is looking forward to the season ahead.
“It’s a real confidence booster to have support from Kawasaki and K4Offroad. I will be doing my best to return their faith with consistent results in the year ahead”.

Ross Burridge, Racing Coordinator for KMUK added that he hoped the increase in support for enduro riders would heighten interest in what is a fascinating off-road discipline.
“There is so much strategy involved in enduro racing. Quite apart from the need to maintain momentum, riders also have to consider many elements of timing and tactics. We wish all three Kawasaki supported riders the very best of fortune for the 2011 season ahead”
