Jamie Law looking for a top 5 Maxxis finish

After his excellent performance in the previous round Jamie Law is full of confidence for the last meeting of the Maxiss ACU British Motorcross Championship being held at Little Silver, Exeter, this weekend (06 and 07 October 2012).

Currently sitting in sixth place overall Team STR KTM are hoping they’ll be able to help him through a good series of races to go at least one place higher.

Jamie has found himself shouldering the burden of lead rider for Team STR KTM due to injuries sustained earlier in the season by Matiss Karro and Nez Parker.

Team boss Steve Turner said: “Jamie has performed really well since he came in and hopefully he’ll get his reward this weekend. It has been a hard tough season. We’ve not had the best of luck losing first Matiss and then Nez to injuries that have kept them side-lined for long parts of the season.

“That gave Jamie a chance and he’s taken it, especially over the last couple of round of the British Championship. He’s currently in sixth place but if he rides as well as he did last time out he might be able to climb at least one place up the final rankings.”

The good news for Team STR KTM is that Matiss Karro is on the mend and could be on a bike within the next couple of weeks to get himself back to full fitness for the team next season.
