Investment Trade Bank & Honda World motocross Team partner up for 2012

The Honda World Motocross Team is pleased to announce that the Investment Trade Bank from Russia will support the team as a major partner for 2012 in its assault on the FIM MX1 World Championship.

This new partnership, which has evolved thanks to Youthstream’s assistance in creating a new commercial relationship with the team, is certainly an exciting one as the new partner, who is also sponsoring the MXGP series this year, will support the Honda factory squad for the 2012 season.

The deal came about as Investment Trade Bank was looking to partner a team especially to support a Russian rider in its quest to take the World title back to Russia. Consequently the company has agreed to become involved with the factory Honda World Motocross squad, who will represent the brand in the MX1 series this season fielding Evgeny Bobryshev and Rui Gonçalves aboard factory CRF 450R machinery.

Roger Harvey: Honda Motor Europe Off-Road Manager
“For us to have further outside support from a partner as big as the Investment Trade Bank is really a great prospect in helping us achieve our goals. Thanks has to go to Youthstream for their involvement in bringing a new commercial partner not only to the championship, but also to one of the teams, as they assisted in the arrangement of this deal on our behalf, which is also great for the development of the sport. We are looking forward to a strong and successful relationship with Investment Trade Bank for 2012.”

Lorenzo Resta: Honda World Motocross Team Manager
“This is a great opportunity and we are very pleased to welcome Investment Trade Bank on-board as a major partner of the team. Obviously they wanted to work with a Russian rider in Evgeny Bobryshev, and it is good that we have a new commercial relationship with our professional team. This new partner is one of the primary sponsors of our Honda World Motocross Team, and to involve a relationship from a new country, as well as a sponsor of the Grand Prix events, can only be good for the sport. Youthstream has been instrumental in structuring the deal, and we are excited to work with the Investment Trade Bank with some good support for our project.”

Vladimir Gudkov: Chairman of the Management Board OJSC Investment Trade Bank
“The partnership with the company Honda has a strategic meaning for both sides and is directed to encourage the involvement of the public attention towards the spectacular technical types of sport and to the promotion of the healthy way of life in Russia. For us the participation in this project first of all is a great opportunity because we can support young Russian sportsmen who have the goal to obtain the world title in motocross and it is also aimed to increase of the prestige of Russia on an international level.”
