I’m only 5ft 9 and I find it really hard to lift my bike on the stand. If I hold it from the back mud guard and lift I can only manage to lift up the free sag in the suspension and the wheel does not even come off the ground.
The best way I find to lift my bike on the stand is to stand behind the back wheel and put one hand on the rear mud guard and one on the wheel rim that way I get more height and it’s much easier to put on the stand.
Try not to lift the bike from the tailpipe especially after a race as it’s very hot and can burn.
Hucklebridge events are holding the next round of the BYMX at Cusses Gorse on the 18th and 19th July.
Hope to see you there.
