Friday’s Crackerjack – Stewart, BikerFM, Windham, Dungey and more

What a week – moves here and even more more moves there – man its been busy on the transfer front.

Firstly Marc De Reuver has moved from the Beursfoon Suzuki team to the Van Beers Yamaha team for 2011, not a bad move for a rider who seems at a lost when racing GP’s.

News from the KTM camp is Max Nagl will race the 350 in 2011 and not the 450 as presumed, the young German was faster on it than the 450 while testing at Lommel and will switch bikes as of now.

Ryan Dungey has released a short video from the MXDN in Denver, it shows him on and off the circuit on the day the USA won it for the 21st time.

AXO Sport has signed Davide Guarneri for the 2011 season, Davide will wear AXO gear, basically head to toe.

The legend which is Kevin Windham has extended his deal with Geico Honda until 2012.
“It’s already been a wild off season with all the rumors going around of where riders are going so it’s cool to get this deal done now,” Windham said. “I’m really happy to be staying with this team. It’s home. These were the guys that gave me a second chance when I came back from my broken femur in 2002 and it just feels right to stay here. For this team to step up and give me a two-year deal is special. We won’t have to sweat going through negotiations next year. Now we’re looking at a place where I’m going to end my career. I couldn’t be with a better group of guys.”

Watch the crazies from Nitro Circus introduce the new Evo Collection.

Going slightly on the mellow side here’s a great new book to read from Gunnar Lindstrom, “Husqvarna Success”

The Weston Beach race is only a week away and and it looks like Josh Coppins fans are in for a treat, as it could be his last ever race on GB soil.
“I’ve had a great career over here in Europe in the British and GP scene and now I’m looking forward to new challenges back at home. I have only ever ridden the RHL Beach Race twice once in 2007 where I was second and then I rode again in 2008 and had to DNF as my bike broke. My goal this year is to finish firstly and also finish well. In 2007 the race was cut short to two hours so I haven’t finished it yet at the full distance! I am looking forward to going home but I want to get on the place with hopefully a Beach Race win!”

Yves Demaria will take the roll of Sport Manager for KRT Racing here in Europe. Demaria will look after Pourcel, Barragan and Boog in his new roll starting on January 1st.

Anaheim 1 is not too far away so theres no better way to get the blood going than to sit and watch a cool highlight video of Mr James Stewart who will hopefully return for his crack at the title.

Lets go back in time a wee bit to the year 2000 where Carey Hart performed the first ever back flip – ah the memories.

One final thing our very own Chussy has his own motocross radio show with ex-GP racer Mark Hucklebridge on
Its on every Wednesday between 8pm and 10pm…they pretty much talk about everything in the sport and have guest riders LIVE in the studio. Tune in and have a listen its great fun.
