Fat Cats end Whiterose MXC Winter Series

This years WRMXC Winter Series concluded at the popular winter venue of Fat Cats Motopark, Armthorpe. As the series went into the final round, things couldn’t of been tighter, with alot of the groups still battling it out for the Top Spot.
In the A class the title could have gone one of four ways, but two wins and a second place secured the overall victory and the big cash prize for Rich Cannings. Alec Everitt`s great performances in the three rounds ensured that he secured the runner up spot, with Luke Crang just pipping Mark Cardwell to take third place.

Dan Wainwright’s unbeaten run in the last three rounds ensured he romped to victory in the Novice C class. A good consistant set of results saw Ash Senior take second overall, with Rich Mckay coming home third.

In a close fought affair in the BW 85 class, Jack Naylor narrowly edged the overall Championship by just four points from Robert Ainley. In his first full year in the Big Wheels, young Joe Sutcliffe performed well and secured third overall.
The SW 85 class overall victory went to Ben Knight, with Callum Crossland taking second and Jack Bennett taking third.
Lewis Hall’s consistant high scores in the final three rounds secured the title in the 65’s class, with Thomas Dodsworth taking second overall ahead of Patrick Jackson in third.

Just four points separated the top three in the Mighty Auto’s Championship, which saw some great performances throughout the Series. Jonty Wrights performance in the first three rounds helped him to secure the overall Championship, just two points ahead of Josh Robson, who inturn was just two points ahead of Joe Ross in a really exciting and close fought affair.
