MX1 IMBA Czech’s In
Following the cancellation due to wet weather on April 29th of the opening IMBA MX1 European Championship round at Vollezele in Belgium, Team AMCA Great Britain will try again this weekend to fire their title aspirations into life.

Their destination on this occasion will be Krasny Dvur in the Czech Republic. Indeed, the 2012 class of IMBA MX1 looks like being an ultra-competitive affair with strong squads from Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, France and the Czech Republic all competing and including both the 2011 Champion, Jelle Grade of Belgium and also former triple Champion, Frank Jansen-Teitz of Germany.
Making to long trip to Krasny and representing Team AMCA Great Britain will be Lee Dunham, 3rd in 2011, Lee Payne, Michael Reynolds and Luke Meredith with the team manager being Jackie Mitchell. Good luck to everyone involved.

Sidecars hold Court
The Sidecars head into round 5 of the Championship at Upton Court this coming weekend (20th May). With over 18 chairs doing battle at the last round this weekend is sure to see some top quality racing!

No “Hope” for Slow Pete but “Ashby is on” – Cotswold Enduro
After speaking to the Land Owner at Hope Under Dinmore last night he said although it has dried up considerably there were still areas that were still lying really wet especially the wooded areas and the fields near the streams also the entrance and exit to the parking field is very boggy, so it was decided by both parties to postpone the event for another couple of weeks until the Bank Holiday Weekend being the 3rd June. This will allow these areas to dry out and not cause unnecessary damage – assuming we do not have a repeat of the recent bad weather.
We will now be running this weekend at Ashby Moto Park which was cancelled in April due to the bad weather – It will be round 3 of the Slow Pete Series.
The track is wood mulch covered and is at present in good condition, the woodland sections are at present tacky so should be good by the weekend .
The track for the most part is drying all the time so should be in top condition by Sunday
Just to note we are proposing that the event at Hope on the 3rd June will now be a Rock Oil/Club Champs round and a combined Slow Pete round.
This will get us back on schedule with all the different Championships and we will run for 3 hours.
The Long Compton date for the Slow Pete will now be moved subject to the Farmer’s diary.
I am sorry if any of the changes don’t suit everybody but we have to make changes to try and get back on track.
We are not the only Club that is in this situation I am sure but hopefully the weather will settle down and we can get back to normal.
