Rain, Rain, Go Away!

The weather has wreaked havoc with this weekends Motocross events, at the time of going to press we have Wrekin at Castle Caereinion as the only Motocross left running. We would advise all riders to keep an eye on the website for any updates.

IMBA MX2 – Dane we Go

This weekend the AMCA Team Great Britain MX2 team will be making the very long trip to Lindknud in Denmark for the opening round of the IMBA European series.

Representing the AMCA will be Shane Holmes, the reigning home MX2 Champion,Paul Neale,Lewis Abbott and Scott Mathia. In recent seasons, Team Great Britain have enjoyed outstanding success in the IMBA MX2 competition, with Holmes bagging a great runners-up spot in 2011 as Mathia, son of former GP rider Pete, took a strong 8th overall.

Making their debuts in 2012 IMBA are Neale and Abbott, both very rapid in home competition and now desperate to shine on the European scene. There’s certainly plenty of travelling for our IMBA MX2 boy’s in 2012 with further rounds to come in Germany, Italy, Nympsfield, England, France, Switzerland and finally Holland!!. The team, again managed by former rider Colin Price will be gunning for further glory so good luck to everyone involved!!

Central Group Championship

The Central Group Championship starts at Wolverhamptons vastly improved re-designed track at Dunston on 13th May, if you have not booked in at club make sure you do so as demand is bound to be high for places.

The 3 best overall scores from the 4 meetings will count.  Out of Group riders will be allowed to ride but will only score trophy points and there will be no moving group riders points up when non-group riders score points.
