South Somerset MXC head to Pontrilas on July 29th

With the ridiculous weather we have been experiencing lately, South Somerset MXC are hoping for more summer like weather for Sunday 29th July at the fabulous PONTRILAS Motoparc for round 7 of their club champs. Hopefully this will be third time lucky for Pontrilas, as the last two events there have fallen foul of our Great British summer.

Rhino Goo, a big supporter of South Somerset and school boy mx as a whole will once again be on site, not only selling their fantastic products at well below rrp, but will be sponsoring three riders from each group with the best dirt bike cleaner money can buy.

A big thanks to all the team at Rhino Goo for their continued support. Anyone wishing to ride this brill track should call Wendy on 07769215933, no marshal required.

With two of South Somerset’s meetings also lost to the lovely British weather only one round will be left after Pontrilas and that will be at Landrake on the 16th of September for what will be round 8 club champs and will be the final round of the popular West of England MX Championship run in conjunction with South West MXC.

The championship is wide open in most groups so racing will be tight right to the final moto. This will be the last time you will be able to ride Landrake this season.

A full on presentation is confirmed for the 27th of October at the award winning St Audries Bay Holiday Park, Nr Minehead.

This year will see South Somerset host their own award ceremony and also the West of England Championship awards. What a great way to finish the season with South Somerset and South West working together during 2012.
