Golden Tyre to support BSMA nationals in 2011

2011 will see a massive shake up of the BSMA National Series; Golden Tyre will lead the new GT Cup with the BSMA administering the series throughout.

The GT Cup will be won by the highest point scorer in the series; it could be a rider from any youth group. The cup will be held by the BSMA and displayed whenever possible.

The race events will take place on some of the UK’s best tracks throughout the country on the last weekend of each month from March through to August.

The final round in August will be held over the Bank Holiday weekend with racing taking place on Saturday and Sunday and the final presentation of all awards on the Monday morning.

The GT Cup has received great support and sponsorship from many different companies who have supplied some fantastic prizes which will not only be won at the conclusion of the series but also a selection at each round.

The holiday, which is sponsored by MX Tenerife will consist of 10 days half board for two people and will include 4 days riding.
The HARO BMX’s are sponsored by FRUK and the tyres, TV’s and Nintendo Consoles are supplied by Golden Tyre.

All youth classes will also receive trophies to 10th place.

All overall winners of the 2011 series will receive automatic registration to the next series.

All riders that compete in all rounds will receive the last round free.

The GT Cup was officially launched at the BSMA Finals and over the two days more than 110 riders have already signed up and paid a deposit to take part in 2011.

To register for the series costs £180 per rider and for each event will cost an additional £80 per youth and £90 per adult rider.
